Alternate Album Cover
This is a multimedia poster I created in InDesign. The poster is for NCT's first album, Empathy. NCT is one of my favorite K-Pop groups. The Rubik's cube represents the group's unique blend between simplicity and complexity. As well as pushing beyond our current knowledge to gain deeper insights about our world. The mismatched Rubik's cube provides a great pop of color against the otherwise minimalist design. The script font pairs well with the simple yet minimalist futuristic font. The names at the bottom are all of the members of NCT at the time of the album release, but NCT has added/shifted members since 2018. I like the way the names fill up some negative space in the poster. It creates a good balance from top to bottom. The black border frames everything and brings even more attention to the centerpiece (the Rubik's cube).
