This magazine spread made on InDesign is supposed to give the viewer a brief introduction to some of Japan's biggest fashion subgenres. The body paragraphs were made with Copilot AI, and I used Adobe's background remover for the images. I also utilized the Text wrap feature so it's easier to tell where each picture belonged. Each subheading has a different typeface that I thought suited that section the best. For example, Lolita has a script font that represents the elegant and sweet style of that subgenre. The background is the branch of a cherry blossom tree that I found on Unsplash. Its opacity is set to 40% so the text in front of it is readable. There are page numbers and a pink border around the spread that I think ties everything together. To make all the different typefaces have something in common, they all have a magenta gradient fill. Overall, I like the way this magazine spread turned out.
